Half Moon Yoga offers one day 5* boutique style yoga retreats near to Sevenoaks in a contemporary converted cattle barn surrounded by fields and woodland.

The retreat allows you to relax and re-balance your mind and body through a variety of yoga classes, including Vinyasa Flow and restorative Yin, meditation, and a range of seasonal dependant activities such as mindful walks in the tranquil woods, soaking up sunshine at the pool, massage treatments, or just enjoying some quiet time by yourself savouring the magnificent view. You can do as much or as little of the day as you choose, it’s your time to plug into yourself.

The above is complemented with a delicious, home prepared, organic vegetarian lunch as well as an assortment of healthy snacks throughout the day.

The Day

Join us for a luxurious and rejuvenating day of reconnection. This one-day escape to the beautiful Kent countryside will prepare and open up your mind and body for the uplifting energy that summer brings.

The day will start with your choice of ethically sourced Monmouth coffee or herbal tea. We also invite you to hand over your phone to 'techtox' (optional but encouraged) so you truly have a day to escape the constant chatter of modern life and connect with yourself. By deciding to disconnect from the distraction of our devices, we choose to plug into ourselves and take the opportunity to stay in the present.

We will then have a 90-minute morning flow session that will start with a short meditation. Once you have cleared your minds and released some tension, you will have the chance to wander around bare foot and in silence. This will allow you to explore what it feels like to be directly connected to the earth’s energy while enjoying the beautiful grounds of this tranquil converted stone cattle barn.

A delicious Ottolenghi style vegetarian lunch will follow, with comforting food that is gorgeously presented, yet close to its natural form. All ingredients, where possible, will be organic and some picked directly from the garden.  You will also be served freshly made organic juice to cleanse and energise.

After lunch you will be given a few hours of down time where you can choose to relax by the pool or go for a walk in the woods and experience mother nature's offerings. The walk will be guided, but you are more than welcome to partake in silence if you prefer. There will also be time for quiet reflection where you may wish to do some journaling, meditation or just enjoy sitting and listening to the sounds of nature.

We'll close our day with a 90-minute Yin session followed by a glass of champagne - after all, life is all about balance!

Jess

Jess has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and teachers vinyasa flow, yin yoga and Pilates. Her classes always have a heavy breath focus and pay particular attention to smooth transition and fluidity of movement. She holds the space for her students to stay present in their body, to get familiar with their internal environment and accept where they are in each moment.

Jess is passionate about sharing yoga and believes everyone can benefit from it. She continues to learn and develop her personal practice and teaching style, seeking out a wide variety of disciplines to bring creativity to her energetic output. Jessica loves guiding people on their yoga journey, watching her students progress and seeing them fall in love with the practice. She currently teaches at The Curtain club in Shoreditch, Third Space Clubs and is also available for private and corporate classes. 

Hilbre

Hilbre is a Health Coach who graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York - the largest nutrition school in the world, an experienced Life Coach from the leading Coaches Training Institute in California and a certified Firework Career Coach. Her passion for good health and living life to the full was born out of watching her mother die from cancer and realising how short life can be.

“I have an incredible passion to share the magic of what it feels like to feel good. I would love you to really know yourself and your power. I feel we owe it to ourselves to be in healthy and positive relationships, enjoy the work we do, surround ourselves with positive and uplifting people and spend time in nature and giving back.
